Emperor is not, strictly speaking, a materials testing software.
It has been specifically designed to meet the requirements of quality professionals who need to assess manufactured products, components, or materials by evaluating their ability to sustain applied tensile or compressive loads.
Emperor's powerful yet user-friendly Windows interface enables quality managers, who are not necessarily materials scientists, to quickly and efficiently develop sophisticated control and analysis procedures tailored to match their particular products.
Test data can be graphically interrogated, replayed, assessed against pass/fail criteria, compiled into batch reports, and exported to other software.
Typical testing applications include: springs and spring assemblies, fasteners, actuation profile of switches, packaging, control levers, connector insertion/withdrawal force, medical devices, adhesive bonds, textiles, food ripeness/staleness and automotive components.
