Punch press tooling facilitates quick
setups

Quick setup, easy installation, faster maintenance, and interchangeability with other suppliers' tools and tooling systems are the main benefits of tool technology for CNC punch presses.

Metal fabricators visiting the Fabricating Pavilion at IMTS 2002 will see the latest in tool system technology when they visit the Mate Precision Tooling exhibit at Booth B-6401, September 4-11 at McCormick Place in Chicago, Illinois Ultra XT combines interchangeability features and long life design for maximum productivity Ultra XT is Mate's newest high performance tool system for Amada, Finn-Power, Murata Wiedemann, Euromac, Nisshinbo, Strippit and other punch presses using thick turret style tooling

Ultra XT incorporates many unique design advantages for achieving superior performance in punching holes.

These include quick setup, easy installation, faster maintenance, and interchangeability with other suppliers' tools and tooling systems.

Features include: quick adjustment of the punch length, hardened and ground guides, which reduce the abrasive action of punching, and interior and exterior spiral grease grooves, which diffuse heat effectively.

The tooling system also has Slug Free dies, a unique design feature which clears the slug every cycle, thereby eliminating slug pulling.

These features extend both tool and turret life while improving piece part quality and reducing scrap.

Ultra Light Punches Thin And Decorative Materials Without Sheet Marks Mate's Ultra Light stripping system reduces tooling spring pressure in turret punch presses, thereby eliminating unwanted sheet marking.

This system is designed for use on high polish, textured, pre-painted and reflective metals where finish appearance is critical.

An important feature of Ultra Light is quiet operation.

Noise levels can be reduced by up to 10 decibels using this stripping system compared to conventional punch press tooling.

Ultra Light is available for 1/2in A, 1-1/4in B, 2in C, 3-1/2in D and 4-1/2in E stations for Amada, Finn Power, Murata Wiedemann, Euromac, Strippit and Nisshinbo punch presses using thick turret style tooling.

Get complete technical information on both of these tooling systems anytime during the IMTS Show at Booth B-6401. Request a free brochure from Mate Precision Tooling ...
