Recirculating heater chiller's easy view indicator
A new portable recirculating heater and chiller is now being manufactured by UK-based Megatech.
The MI-N200 is designed for temperature measurements of paper, ceramics, painted or dull oxidised metal surfaces, powders, thick plastics, rubber, textiles, vinyl, or liquids, and it is capable of operation in ambient temperatures of up to 70 deg C.
The other two models in the series are the MI-S200 and MI-GA200, that are designed to measure temperatures from 300 to 2500 deg C.
These units feature a response time of 20ms, adjustable to 10s, with the medium/high temperature models featuring an LED targeting light.
Applications include monitoring metal surfaces and component temperatures in the manufacture of semi-conductor wafers, graphite, ceramics, and composites.
All units in this range are fully programmable, via the hand held programming module.
Enclosed in stainless steel and CE approved, the construction of these units help ensure reliability and accuracy in tough industrial environments.
They have many applications in the processing, engineering and manufacturing industries.
