Meritus appoints manager for resistance
welding

Meritus has appointed Andrew Godfrey as Manager Meritus Products, responsible for the engineering, marketing and sales of the all Meritus resistance welding products.

Meritus, the St Albans, Hertfordshire, England based resistance welding equipment manufacturer has appointed Andrew Godfrey as Manager Meritus Products, responsible for the engineering, marketing and sales of the all Meritus resistance welding products Prior to this appointment, Andrew was a Concept Engineer with Engineered Products at British Federal, whom he joined 4 years ago

In 1995 he graduated from the University of Central England with a BEng.

(Hons) in Mechanical Engineering and even today continues with his studies on a part-time basis for an MBA.

Since graduating he has gained considerable experience as a Mechanical Designer of special purpose assembly and material testing machinery.

Andrew, who is married and lives in Sedgeley is based at the manufacturing site in Dudley.

Andrew said: "My main priority is to further develop the sales of all Meritus equipment, including the range of cross wire welding machines ­ Multiman, Fleximan and Uniman.

The number of orders we received at the Interwire 2001 exhibition in Atlanta showed us that if you continue to develop existing and new products, the market will always be interested.

I think every Production Director and Manager would like to use the latest production equipment in his factory." Meritus is a division of British Federal, the Dudley, West Midlands based resistance welding equipment and controls manufacturer.
