All-plastic container holds heavy fluids

An all-plastic intermediate bulk container features a one-piece, rugged plastic base for the safe shipping and storage of heavy weight fluid products with specific gravity ratings up to 1.6.

Bulk container manufacturer Meese Orbitron Dunne Co, Saddle Brook, New Jersey, has unveiled the OTP-All-Plastic intermediate bulk container, a new design featuring a one-piece, rugged plastic base for the safe shipping and storage of heavy weight products with specific gravity ratings up to 1.6 such as adhesives, syrups, sauces, gravies, paints, coatings and other non-regulated products.

Supported by reinforcing ribs, the OTP-All-Plastic IBC resists bulging and ensures structural integrity without requiring steel frames or cages.

Rotomolded of rugged LLDPE, the OTP-All-Plastic IBC accommodates 4-way lift access, stacks two high when full and three high empty.

The versatile container is offered in 275- and 330-gallon capacities measuring 45in x 45in x 56.5in and 45in x 45in x 63.5in respectively with approximate tare weights of 250 lb.and 275 lb.

(113.4, 124.74kg).

The OTP-All-Plastic IBC includes a Lever Lock Ring and two-inch PVC Ball Valve discharge as standard while polypropylene and stainless steel valves and complete FDA compliance packages are available.
