The Manufacturing Advisory Service - West Midlands has joined forces with Warwick Manufacturing Group's automation expert Professor Ken Young to help manufacturers understand more about robotics
On Wednesday 21st May 9am onwards (finish around 1.30).
This first showcase allows experts to address the broad issues of five axis machining technology.
Interested parties will have the opportunity to talk to users and suppliers to gauge its appropriateness and experience its benefits.
The showcase will consist of four presentations: * Scene setting.
* Machine tools and configuration.
* Software.
* Tooling.
Followed by practical demonstrations, a Q and A session and a buffet lunch.
The theme is "Should I or shouldn't I?" There will be no sales pitch just the opportunity to make informed decisions on five axis machining.
A small fee will apply to cover the cost of the event.
( GBP 10) MAS-WM will set up around half a dozen similar events throughout the year.
