Distribution block saves panel space
Distribution blocks cover current ratings from 80A to 500A and feature space saving on the foot print of the DIN rail mount block by up to 50% (on the 160A version) over a previous product.
Whether you refer to them as splitter terminals, distribution blocks, splitter boxes or terminal blocks the function is the same, you take one cable in and several cables out allowing the safe distribution of you incoming power to your control circuits and electrical components So how can you save panel space? This is best answered by MGB Electrical who are pleased to be releasing the new range of Eriflex distribution blocks manufactured by Erico

The new Eriflex distribution blocks cover current ratings from 80A to 500A (500A version with Flexibar/Busbar connection) and Erico have achieved space saving on the foot print of the din rail mount block by up to 50% (on the 160A version) over their previous product.
This reduction in size has been made possible by using tinned copper conductors in place of brass.
These single pole distribution blocks have common features including a screw retaining transparent cover allowing the visual inspection of the connections, are IP20 finger safe, have a 95% fill ratio and are manufactured from halogen free self extinguishing plastic.
In addition to the above the 125 and 160A versions can be connected in parallel using a standard jumper cable thus allowing one single input to be connected to another block providing a professional finish to your panel.
Of course, as you would expect from a leading manufacturer the products carry all the important approvals including CE, IEC 60947-7-1, UL and CSA.
To maximise on the launch of these new products MGB Electrical will be running a special promotion on the new Erico Eriflex UD range of the single pole distribution, for more information please call or register for the soon to be launched MGB e-Newsletter.
