One of the oldest brand names in electronic messaging has been acquired by Worcestershire based Pool Resource.

Following the demise of Shorekarn, one of Europe's leading manufacturers of intelligent electronic information systems, the intellectual manufacturing and marketing rights has been purchased by a marketing company set up over nine years ago and headed up by former Shorekarn director Paul Bubb.

At its height the messagemaker brand accounted for over GBP 2 million worth of annual sales in the UK electronic displays market.

Today many leading companies and organisations throughout the country still specify messagemaker displays as standard.

To them it will come as a great relief that the messagemaker range of products will still be available to further enhance their existing installations.

Pool Resource will promote the messagamaker brand through Messagemaker Displays, which is a trading name owned by the company.

"Having secured the intellectual manufacturing and marketing rights to the brand means that we can continue to provide the high level of product quality and service that has prevailed for the past 20 years", said Bubb.

Shorekarn the former manufacturer, ceased trading in March following a massive slump in orders from one of its key customers in a non related business sector.

Messagemaker Displays has ensured the future development of the messagemaker brand, which includes the market leading IPWallboard, by securing the services of many of the key personnel from Shorekarn who were responsible for product development and customer support.
