Power press control centre raises
reliability
Control centre offers an even easier controller for power presses that gives users even greater process reliability using internationally understood icons and an intuitive menu.
PressTuning was the dominant topic for Muller Weingarten at the EuroBLECH However, tuning is not just restricted to optimization, retrofit modules and servicing

Transfer system development reduces pressing costs
Installation of a compact suction cup press with the latest crossbar technology reduces the unit cost factor by a bout 20% as against a comparable classic suction cup press.
Versatile crossbar transfer retrofits to presses
As well as replacing existing mechanical and robotic parts feeders, a crossbar transfer system can be retrofitted to mechanical and hydraulic standard press lines.
The overall logical concept is also rounded off by Control Tuning.
With the new Control Center, Muller Weingarten is now offering an even easier controller for presses that gives customers even greater process reliability.
Internationally understood icons and an intuitive menu system link the new system with a high performance software suite that has been developed for special requirements.
The architectural separation between the operating system and the controller on which it is based makes it possible to have an integrational concept for data sources with 'plug-and-play' characteristics.
The entire system is divided into a visualization tier and a control tier.
The control tier can consist of one or more individual controllers; for its part, the visualization could also comprise one or more operating stations.
Use of standard interfaces makes the Muller Weingarten Control Center open to all possible expansions.
The ongoing technological development - the tuning - of the controller is therefore already prepared.
For the customer, this amounts to a scalable system with a uniform controller architecture throughout the Muller Weingarten product portfolio.
This makes things significantly easier for a company's staff.
In addition, the use of tried-and-tested standard components means that the startup times can be expected to be short.
Nevertheless, the control system has been tailor-made for Manduuml;ller Weingarten presses and delivers even better performance from the machines.
