Micro robotics controller capacity extended
Control computer caters for larger applications as the maximum application code size is increased from 192K to 512K bytes and is being supplied with 512K RAM as standard.
The Memory Card Interface (part number 5815) will plug directly into several of the company's existing application boards for evaluation, or it can be interfaced easily to any custom application board.
The circuit of the interface is also available for designers who wish to build it into their own application boards.
The memory card interface is supported by software in the form of a filing system driver object that is provided as standard in Venom-SC, the Micro-Robotics' proprietary language, and enables applications that require large amounts of non-volatile or removable storage such as web servers or data loggers.
Micro-Robotics has demonstrated the web-serving capabilities of the VM-1 and the new memory card interface by hosting the whole company web site, including downloads, on a single VM-1 and memory card. Request a free brochure from Micro-Robotics ...
