The RP-1AH is the first of a new range of industrial robots from Mitsubishi Electric that defines a new class of flexible automation for general production and precision assembly tasks.
The new team has been assembled to offer national and regional support while enhancing the service currently provided by the Customer Technology Centre at Hatfield which still takes care of general motion control technical enquires.
The support can cover a wide range of issues such as standards, mechanics (including CAM conversions), motion control electronics, networking and system integration.
Having a focused team of experts with unique engineering knowledge (between them they have over 100 years of intricate motion application knowledge) the new team will be able to help customers avoid potential application problems before they arise.
They can also deal swiftly with issues such as interpreting a machine's dynamics of operation or mechanical topics with fundamental design and build problems.
David Ramsay, Mitsubishi's Motion Product Manager believes there is a real demand for this high level of support and said "Being totally customer focused, the new motion team can visit customers to discuss solution viability from both technical and commercial stand points.
The aim of the team is to offer a variety of solutions and help to guide customers to the correct solution in any motion application, from design and purchasing right the way through to commissioning". Request a free brochure from Mitsubishi Electric Automation Systems ...
