be on show

Mitsubishi Electric is staging multiple presentations at this year's Hannover Messe, underlining its position as one of the world leaders in automation technology.

Mitsubishi Electric is also participating in the special exhibition Automation Live in Hall 17, demonstrating its global partnering abilities for the motor industry.

And its activities with open networks will be highlighted on the joint stand of the Profibus users' organisation in Hall 11.

2004 sees the European launch of several outstanding new industrial automation products, including: * FR-F700 frequency inverter series, the new range of high efficiency energy saving inverters for industrial use and HVAC applications * 400V versions of the J2-Super servo series, featuring Profibus support for the entire series.

* MX4 - a new scalable visualisation platform - usable with everything from simple HMI interfaces to complex process control software.

* Business and management information software systems linking the manufacturing and business systems.

* High-speed assembly robots with load capacities up to 12kg.

* Low voltage distribution systems with Profibus network support.

On its main stand Mitsubishi Electric will also be demonstrating that it is not just a producer of automation technologies, but that it also uses the same technology in its own plants to improve productivity, quality and environmental standards.

This will be illustrated with the Mitsubishi Pajero, the car that won the gruelling Paris-Dakar Rallye in 2003.

Automation live - at the special Innovative Automation in Action exhibition in Hall 17 Mitsubishi Electric will be providing information on its role as a partner for the international motor industry.

Its MELSEC System Q automation platform, enables Mitsubishi Electric to deliver complete solutions combining logic, motion, CNC and Process controller alongside PC technologies, all in a single system.

In addition to this Mitsubishi Electric will also be exhibiting tools manufactured with the latest wire-EDM technology for automobile components suppliers.

The display will also include a presentation on Mitsubishi Electric's global support network, through which it can offer car builders and machine manufacturers a seamless product transition from Europe to Asia and the USA.

Open for European network standards - all Mitsubishi automation systems support open network standards such as Profibus DP as well as its own products and protocols.
