MicroRidge has released the new GageWay Wireless System for Mitutoyo gauges and RS232 devices.

The GageWay Wireless System is designed for use on the factory floor, in the lab or any location where you need to connect Mitutoyo gages (calipers, micrometers, digital indicators, etc.), or gauges with Mitutoyo compatible output, and RS232 devices to a computer through a wireless connection.

In its simplest form, a wireless data collection system consists of a Base unit connected to a PC receiving wireless data from a Remote unit, or it can be as complicated as multiple bases receiving data from dozens of Remote units.

The primary reasons a company would use a wireless system include: Elimination of cumbersome cabling issues.

Provides the flexibility to conveniently take the gage to what has to be measured.

Reduce human error by eliminating manual data recording.

The key features of the GageWay Wireless System include the following: Supports digital gages and RS232 devices.

Highly visible user feedback.

Easy to use set up and use.

Economical to purchase and maintain.

Works with any computer that has a USB or serial port.

Integrates with existing gage interface systems or with any statistical process control (SPC) and data acquisition (DAQ) software.

Uses the latest ZigBee wireless technology.

MicroRidge has been designing and building hardware and software solutions for RS232 and network data acquisition since 1988.

We offer a broad range of gage interface, keyboard wedge, and wireless solutions.
