Production of Marco's innovative LineMaster portion control scale has passed the 1000 mark- testimony indeed to this remarkable product introduced only three years ago.
The 1000th unit was delivered to a leading ready meals manufacturer producing millions of pot salads and sandwiches every month.
Marco have estimated that during this time the LineMaster has saved food companies millions of pounds through sustained reduction in giveaway and wastage, whilst improving finished product quality and consistency.
One 'growing' area for the LineMaster is in the soft fruit packing industry where it offers a remarkably rapid return on investment in this highly competitive industry.
Development of the product line has been very much a joint effort where Marco engineers have worked closely with clients to optimise Linemaster for specific applications - a situation borne out by the fact that the software available to all users is now on version v127.
Manufactured from stainless steel throughout, LineMaster is ideally suited to the rigours of the food processing industry and can withstand the most stringent wash down/GMP procedures.
Bespoke design stands, trolleys and fully integrated production tables are available to ensure long term reliability and further enhance the LineMaster's performance advantage.
For optimum flexibility, and to avoid problems arising from troublesome cables, the units can be interfaced via secure onboard RF wireless (802.11) communications to the LineMaster software module.
Typically LineMaster platforms form part of a wider factory optimisation system based around Marco's award winning Trac-IT MES (Manufacturing Execution System) software suite.
This ensures the most effective use of real time factory floor data in order to optimise overall equipment efficiency (OEE) and bring a rapid return on investment.
