Combination kits which allow handwheel drive linear modules to be combined, therefore achieving simple, robust and accurate X-Y linear positioning.

MK Profile Systems have introduced new combination kits which allow their handwheel drive linear modules type VST2011 and VST 2015 to be combined, therefore achieving simple, robust and accurate X-Y linear positioning The popular linear module systems VST2015 (Based on 50X50mm profile) and VST2011 (Based on 100X100mm profile) have successfully given users the option of low cost linear adjustment using a simple hand wheel

Many similar systems concentrate on high precision costly components and sliding mechanisms, which while precise, are often too expensive and precision made for simple applications.

The MK linear module system works on the basis of utilising standard MK aluminium extrusions and adding the linear elements to create a low cost linear motion module, which is strong, smooth and economical.

When in position, there are two locking screws on the carriage to secure the modules in their positions.

The assembly is then very rigid and can be used in many applications such as cutting, labelling, marking and positioning.

The new combination kits allow the user to combine a module in the X direction with another in the Y direction to create a situation where the user can have adjustment in both directions by turning the handles.

The components involved are low cost and easy to use.

MK Profile Systems, are the UK supplier of the MK Profile System 2000.
