CNC machine tool simulation enhanced

A MachineWorks product story
Edited by the Manufacturingtalk editorial team Sep 1, 2006

Latest simulation software's innovative advances - such as new methods for programming full machine simulation - include enhanced forward kinematics and improvements to clash detection.

MachineWorks, developer of the leading toolkit for CNC simulation and verification will be exhibiting its latest technology at IMTS 2006 in Chicago, USA.

Our new functionality includes enhancements that are designed primarily to increase performance and improve accuracy.

"We are experiencing a stronger demand for sophisticated simulation and collision detection due to the greater complexity and affordability of machine tools", commented David Manley, managing director, "We are extending our expertise acquired as market leaders for simulation in the CAM industry to other areas where material removal and clash detection are important." The version of MachineWorks introduced at IMTS makes available innovative advances such as new methods for programming full machine simulation.

We have also made available enhanced forward kinematics and significant improvements to the performance of clash detection.

"We are highly specialised in CNC simulation including material removal and collision checking.

Our development team dedicates all its efforts to ensure that MachineWorks remains cutting-edge technology", commented Mike Nicholson, sales and marketing director, "We like to think that MachineWorks' continuous innovation helps our customers to maintain their leading positions." Visitors to the MachineWorks' IMTS booth will be able to take away the latest multimedia CD showcasing the unique capabilities of MachineWorks' technology.

* About MachineWorks - MachineWorks Technology is the industry standard for CNC simulation and verification component software.

Our toolkit has been adopted by OEMs looking for a solution that combines speed, accuracy and stability.

It is ideally suited for complex machining simulation, clash detection and full machine simulation.
