Presswork partners to discuss profitability

A Metalforming Machinery Makers Association product story
Edited by the Manufacturingtalk editorial team Mar 12, 2003

The Metalforming Machinery Makers' Association is sponsoring the 14th ICOSPA Congress being held at the National Metalforming Centre in West Bromwich, West Midlands from 15th - 18th June 2003.

The Metalforming Machinery Makers' Association (MMMA) has announced that it is sponsoring the 14th ICOSPA (International Council of Sheet Metal Presswork Associations) Congress being held at the National Metalforming Centre in West Bromwich, West Midlands from 15th - 18th June 2003.

The Congress will see international delegates, who are senior decision makers from leading UK and overseas presswork and fabrication companies coming together to discuss and examine how to make partnerships profitable.

Speakers will be putting forward their ideas on how to innovate, to get to the market faster and to get further cost out of production.

As well as factory and site visits to global brands operating in the UK, there is an exhibition of MMMA members in the exhibition hall alongside the Congress.

The exhibition will assist in raising the profile of the MMMA, helping it become more easily identified within the Metalforming industry, creating an awareness of what the Association is and what it does for its members.

The exhibition is open to not only the Congress delegates but is open to visitors from the presswork and fabrication industry, who would be interested in seeking sources of supply for metalforming equipment and ancillary equipment.

Members' stands will give them the opportunity to show their skills, expertise and knowledge in providing precision equipment and associated services needed by the metalforming industry.

Delegates and visitors will have the opportunity to talk directly to representatives from the exhibitors, thereby seeking out sources of supply.

MMMA members should be seen as a 'crucial central source of supply' when end users are purchasing metalforming equipment and associated tooling.

A supplier being a member of the Association, should always be strongly recommended during the purchasing process, to ensure that the highest professionalism in metalforming is achieved.

Entry to the exhibition is 'free of charge' including parking, but delegates to the Congress have to register in advance with the Conference Manager, Kirsi Lintula at kirsi.lintula@britishmetalforming.com.
