MMMA council member changes
Following the 2004 AGM the Metalforming Machinery Makers' Association (MMMA) has elected three new council members.
Following the 2004 AGM the Metalforming Machinery Makers' Association (MMMA) has elected three new council members and accepted the retirement of long standing Council Members Bill Hare, Managing Director of PJ Hare Ltd, the Bristol based press manufacturer and Terry Hardy of Keeton Sons and Company Ltd, the Sheffield based shearing and press brake manufacturer.
The MMMA which acts as the central organisation promoting the common interests of its members involved in the manufacture and sale of metalforming machinery and ancillary products, including tooling in the United Kingdom always continues to seek new Council Members to represent their Companies.
Roger Smith representing ASC UK Ltd and Chris Ward representing Atkin Automation Ltd have been elected along with John Thatcher, the Managing Director of PJ Hare Ltd Commenting on the retirement of Bill Hare and Terry Hardy; David Brotherton, Secretary of the MMMA said: "Both Bill and Terry have been staunch supporters of the Association and have over many years provided generous support and personal commitment representing many hours work in support of the industry in which they both worked.
The Association thanks them for all the help and service they have given over the many years and wishes them both a happy retirement.".
