The Metalforming Machinery Makers Association (MMMA), members' pavilion at the Midlands Manufacturing Show at the NEC Birmingham, 13 - 14 April 2005, was judged a success by the exhibiting members.

"It has been very successful and something we will definitely be looking at for further shows." Gary Orgles, Automation and Technology said: "This has been the best engineering show we have done in all the years we have been exhibiting at regional shows".

"There has been a wide diversity of visitors and we have had enquiries for forming products to automated machinery, including packing, stacking and welding, in fact covering our complete product range".

"It has been absolutely brilliant." Jim Bain, Formit said: "For a 2 day show, it has been excellent, far better than I had expected for both visitors and enquiries".

"This group stand is good and I would recommend it." Clive Meir, Shear-Form Machine Tools said: "Yes, it has been a good show and the enquiries I have received are serious enquiries".

"Just what I am looking for when I attend exhibitions." Charles Higgins, Worcester Presses said: "The MMMA members' stand is a good concept, visitors can easily look around the stands and quickly meet a number of companies with related but different products".

"We would consider attending this Exhibition in other regions".

"Here the visitor numbers and enquiry level has been good for us." Ray Jelf, Indicum (Sales) said: "The show has been very successful with enough visitors".

"We should continue with this concept".

"It is good to see the unity of the members".

"The number of enquiries, I have received would have taken me 2-3 months to get travelling the West Midlands".

"Here it has taken me 2 days." Bill Neal, Roemheld (UK) said: "We have received a number of leads, which is most encouraging".

"The umbrella of the MMMA stand gives us the opportunity of meeting a wide cross section of visitors".

"It has been good." Mike Hall, SMV Presses (UK) and Chairman, MMMA, said: "It has been a complete success".

"All the exhibiting members have reported receiving enquiries and the attendance has been good".

"As I have said before, the concept of an Association stand is good and works well".

"It is worth trying again." The MMMA acts as the central organisation promoting and representing the common interests of its members involved in the manufacture and sale of metalforming machinery and ancillary products, including tooling in the United Kingdom.
