Edited by the Manufacturingtalk editorial team Jan 25, 2006

The MMMA will be launching their new website and redesigned Members' Handbook at MACH 2006 and will be available 'free of charge' to visitors to the stand.

The Metalforming Machinery Makers' Association remains upbeat about metalforming in the UK as MACH 2006 draws nearer, with a number of member companies indicating that they will be showing new technology and equipment at the exhibition.

The MMMA will be supporting the 'Metalworking Village' based around the MMMA members' pavilion and hospitality suite nr 4918/20.

The members' pavilion is designed to allow members who have not booked larger stands at the exhibition to participate.

The hospitality area allows all members participating at the show to hold meetings in private and also to have facilities to entertain their customers.

The MMMA will be launching their new website and new Members' Handbook at the exhibition.

The Handbook has been completely redesigned and will be launched for the first time as an interactive CD.

This will be available 'free of charge' to visitors to the stand.

At the same time the new website will be up and running, providing more information about the activities of members with direct links to their websites and other websites of interest to industry.

For the first time, the media or any other visitor will be able to download hi-resolution images from the members' press release section.

Support for ISME's Sheet Metal Skills Competition 2006 will be in evidence on the stand with the MMMA Trophy, in the form of a gyroscopic clock and examples of previous entries on show.

Details and entry forms for the competition are currently available on the ISME Web site.
