Malvern has project engineer for South America
Malvern Instruments has appointed Henrique Kajiyama to the post of project engineer - Process Systems.
Malvern Instruments has appointed Henrique Kajiyama to the post of project engineer - Process Systems.
Kajiyama has more than 15 years experience in industrial and process equipment design, in both Brazil and Japan.
His appointment significantly enhances the support that Malvern provides to customers in South America for its on-line and at-line particle characterisation systems.
From his base in Brazil, Henrique will manage engineering projects and support technical sales throughout the region.
This appointment follows the announcement last year of Malvern's groundbreaking agreement with Votorantim, Brazil's second largest company, to supply Insitec on-line particle size analysers for at least 30 of their cement production lines throughout North and South America.
It further underlines Malvern's commitment to its customers in this growing market.
As well as his degree in mechanical engineering, Kajiyama has an MBA and speaks Japanese, English, Portuguese and Spanish - ideal skills for Malvern's first direct employee in South America.
* About Malvern Instruments - Malvern Instruments is a leading supplier of analytical solutions for particle characterisation and rheological applications.
Advanced technologies are combined with robust mechanical designs and comprehensive software to provide systems that measure material characterization data (size distribution, particle shape, zeta potential, molecular weight) and bulk material properties.
On-line, at-line and off-line solutions are provided to meet QA/QC, control and development applications across a diverse range of industries.
An extensive support service facilitates the optimal design and exploitation of any given system.
