Particle characterisation and rheology Web seminar
web seminar program, with presentations in a number of different languages, provides a forum to learn about different aspects of particle characterisation and rheology.
An expanded series of global web seminars is now underway for Malvern Instruments.
Now in its sixth year, Malvern's web seminar program, with presentations in a number of different languages, provides a forum for customers and non-customers alike to learn about different aspects of particle characterization and rheology.
The seminars are provided at no charge, and participants require only internet access for the presentation itself and the availability of a telephone to deliver the audio.
Vice-president of marketing, Randy Byrne, said: "At a very early stage of the technology's availability, Malvern recognised the power and potential of Web-based communications to deliver a whole range of customer support and educational materials.
For a company like ours, with a truly global customer base and an extensive network of sales and support organisations, there was never any question that we could use web seminars to provide product and applications information, as well as training and product support.
Our first seminar in 2000 attracted an audience of just 20 and it is a measure of our success that we now regularly expect in the region of 50-100 participants to log on from all over the globe." * About Malvern Instruments - Malvern Instruments is a leading supplier of analytical solutions for particle characterization and rheological applications.
Advanced technologies are combined with robust mechanical designs and comprehensive software to provide systems that measure material characterisation data (size distribution, particle shape, zeta potential, molecular weight) and bulk material properties.
On-line, at-line and off-line solutions are provided to meet QA/QC, control and development applications across a diverse range of industries.
An extensive support service facilitates the optimal design and exploitation of any given system.
