Research Software For Zetasizer Nano Series

A Malvern Instruments product story
Edited by the Manufacturingtalk editorial team Jul 5, 2004

Malvern Instruments new Research Software package for its Zetasizer Nano series of particle characterization systems measure the size, zeta potential and molecular weight of nanometer-size particles.

Malvern Instruments has launched a new Research Software package for its Zetasizer Nano series of particle characterization systems which measure the size, zeta potential and molecular weight of nanometer-size particles and molecules.

Once installed, the new software integrates with the Zetasizer Nano's standard software to provide extended post processing options and extra functionality suitable for research applications.

The extended post processing options include: control over the size and zeta potential algorithms; extra algorithms which include CONTIN and the most recent method for the conversion of mobility to zeta potential by White and Mangelsdorf; availability of further parameters; and a suite of extra reports.

The greater functionality includes access to the extended range linear correlator, giving a dynamic range in excess of 1.6 x 10E11.

In common with the standard software, all the additional functions of the 'Research Software' have associated 'Advice' to guide users.
