The first meeting to be held in the US for users of Malvern Mastersizer and Spraytec particle size analyzers will take place at Somerset, NJ on September 29, 2005.

On the agenda will be method development techniques, software tips and tricks, and data interpretation.

There will be a review of International and American standards, including ISO 13320 and USP 429, and customer presentations will provide an insight into the use of Mastersizer systems in different industries.

The meeting will provide attendees with the opportunity to learn more about Malvern's laser diffraction systems directly from the company's technical experts and from other users.

In September and October this year, in conjunction with K-Tron, Malvern will also run one-day seminars covering: On-line Particle Size in the Pharmaceutical Industry (September 27, Rosemont, IL; November 14, Research Triangle Park, NC).

In addition, Malvern seminars covering Particle Characterization and Dispersion Rheology - Theory and Applications will take place on September 27 in Philadelphia, PA and on October 12 in Southborough, MA.

There is no charge for any of these events.

They are part of Malvern's extensive training and education program, which also includes live web-based seminars, downloadable audio-visual presentations and a large database of freely accessible articles, application notes, technical briefings and other documents.
