Malvern Instruments' activities at IFPAC2007, the 21st International Forum for Process Analytical Technology (January 28-31, 2007; Baltimore MD, USA), will include the presentation of two key papers and participation in the trade exhibition Malvern recently added powerful NIR (near infrared) chemical imaging systems to its portfolio and presentations at IFPAC will be made by Dr E

Neil Lewis, the company's VP Business and Product Development for Analytical Imaging, and Dr Frederick Koehler, Software Scientist.

This year's IFPAC covers many topics; chemometrics feature strongly throughout, and the program includes a chemometrics for PAT course.

Dr Koehler's presentation is part of the session on Chemical Imaging: Data analysis and emerging techniques, in which he will examine novel strategies for chemometrics in near-IR imaging data.

Dr Lewis's paper is within the Pharmaceutical Imaging session and will cover the applications of near infrared chemical imaging for pharmaceutical root-cause analysis and its use as a routine QA/QC tool. Request free introductory details about products from Malvern Instruments ...
