Company expands rheology team in Europe

Malvern Instruments has made two appointments to its rheology applications sales and support team in Europe, reflecting the company's growing sales in Europe.

Malvern Instruments has made two appointments to its rheology applications sales and support team in Europe, reflecting the company's growing sales in Europe and continued commitment to excellent support for the rheology market.

Veit Zshuppe joins Malvern Instruments from Thermo Haake as Rheology Applications Sales Manager Europe, while Gerald Chabanis, already an experienced member of the Malvern team has moved into the role of Rheology Support and Application Specialist Europe.

Both will be based in Germany.

Veit Zshuppe has a degree in polymer physics and a wealth of experience in the field of rheology - in sales, marketing and applications - both from his time at Thermo Haake and previously with Rheometrics.

Gerald Chabanis gained a degree in chemistry at FH Munster in Germany.

He joined Bohlin Instruments in 2001, moving to Malvern Instruments with the company's acquisition of Bohlin in 2003.

Fluent in German, English and French, and with extensive experience of customer and applications support, Gerald will play a key role in supporting both customers and distributors in Europe.
