e-Learning course for laser particle-size analyser

A Malvern Instruments product story
Edited by the Manufacturingtalk editorial team May 30, 2007

Malvern Instruments has launched an e-Learning course for users of its Mastersizer 2000 laser diffraction-based particle size analyser, a system suitable for bulk powders or pharmaceuticals actives.

Malvern Instruments has launched an e-Learning course for users of its Mastersizer 2000 laser diffraction-based particle size analyser, a system that is widely regarded as the benchmark in many applications from bulk powders to pharmaceuticals actives.

The e-Learning course covers theoretical and practical aspects of laser diffraction analysis.

It is ideal for those charged with method development and/or system maintenance, and who already have some familiarity with the technique.

Available through Malvern's on-line shop the course is delivered as nine 15-20 minute presentations, covering essential topics such as the principles of the technique, data interpretation, routine maintenance of the instrument and method development.

Each section is presented in a straightforward, easy-to-understand way and concludes with a set of exam questions that test understanding and lead to certification.

Having developed laser diffraction particle size analysers for more than 30 years Malvern Instruments has a detailed understanding of the common issues faced by users and the ways in which they can be addressed to optimise system operation.

This course distils the extensive knowledge of Malvern's experts, presenting it in an accessible way, and helping instrument users get the most from their Mastersizer systems.
