The MIC-8 Advanced modular IC system consists of the 817 Bioscan, 818 IC Pump and 812 Valve Unit for sample injection and is suitable for sugar analysis.

The MIC-8 Advanced modular IC system consists of the 817 Bioscan, 818 IC Pump and 812 Valve Unit for sample injection and is suitable for sugar analysis.

Data acquisition and A/D converter are already included in the 817 Bioscan, so that no additional data acquisition module is necessary.

The 817 Bioscan extends the modular ion chromatography system from Metrohm by including carbohydrate analysis in the range of IC applications.

The heart of the 817 Bioscan is the pulsed amperometric detector with built-in column oven.

Control and data acquisition are via the Metrodata IC Net software.

The 817 Bioscan analyzes sugars, alcohols, sugar alcohols, sugar acids, oxidizable substances.

It is possible to operate an independent system with the pulsed amperometric detector, i.e to use the 817 Bioscan as a sugar analyzer.

On the other hand, the 817 Bioscan detector can be included in an existing standard IC system for the determination of anions and cations without any problem.
