Process chemicals can be analysed on-line
Metrohm has combined the best aspects of laboratory and online systems to produce the 875 ProcessLab: a fully customised, automated at-line system for analytical testing.
The system uses well established hardware and software, including the Titrando Titrator and Tiamo Software.
The advantages to the process industry, are the Industrial PC and I/O controller, for sending of information to Process Control Systems.
The system will automatically analyse etching baths, used in the surface preparation of metals for cleaning/degreasing before further manufacture of the components.
Typical analysis for these are Free and Total acid content, Fe2+ and Fe3+, and mixed acid content and Ie HF / HNO3 content.
All of this analysis is carried out in the Process Lab, without operator intervention, and results are relayed to the process controller so remedial action for bath quality is regulated. Request a free brochure from Metrohm UK ...
