Applikon has brought out the Pils system, which facilitates the sampling of aerosols, particulate matter and fine dust particles.
Pils dissolves the particles in a small quantity of liquid within a few minutes.
Metrohm tool samples aerosols, particulate matter and fine dusts.
Appropriate wet-chemical analysers such as ion chromatographs can then be used to analyse this solution.
The system's capabilities include: reliable quantitative sampling of aerosols, high sampling frequency and simple connection to bench-top analytical instruments.
Numerous anion and cation chromatography applications are available on request.
Applikon is also offering the Marga online air-monitoring system, which samples and analyses inorganic species in gasses and aerosols in ambient air.
