Integrated linear distance measuring system provides high precision and reliability, with significant design advantages.

Micromech is pleased to introduce the ball Monorail AMSA-4A integrated linear distance measuring system from Schneeberger.

This is a complete package providing high precision and reliability, with significant design advantages.

The excellent system has an accuracy providing a 200mm signal period, a single read-head (BM15-BM45) for all sizes, optional direct digital readhead output and lengths upto 6000mm (BM25 0 BM45).

There is also an option for operation with the self-lubrication cartridges.

Many other measuring products currently available can be difficult to fit, tedious to set up, are easily damaged or only suitable for relatively clean environments, not so the AMSA-4A.

Here are twenty good reasons to choose a Schneeberger: * The expansion coefficient of the scale is the same as steel.

* Good thermal coupling with the base.

* Measuring close to the working process.

* Optimum alignment of the measuring system.

* Vibration- and shock-resistant.

* The integrated system means simple and easy installation and set-up process.

* Short construction time, no special fitting is necessary.

* No alignment required.

* Simple and precise exchange of measuring-head by means of two fixing screws.

* No additional brackets or machining.

* Space-saving system.

* Short thermal distances to the machine spindle.

* Single read-head covers all rail sizes.

* The system is sealed against dust and liquids.

* Resistant to oils, greases and coolants.

* Insensitive to all kinds of contamination and dirt.

* Measuring scale is corrosion resistant.

* Cover strip protects the measurement scale from damage by swarf or rough handling.

* 100% inter-change-ability of components.

* Delivered complete to the customers specification and ready for installation.
