Robots and automation day to be repeated
So successful was a robots and automation open day held during September that Micromech is to hold another one to cover all aspects of the topic next year.
The robotics and automation open day held in September 2004 by Micromech was very successful, those who attended thought it great and those that couldn't make it were disappointed.
It was therefore decided to hold another on the 28th April 2005 when there will be working demo's and products again, as well as some exciting new automation components.
Micromech will be showing working equipment that demonstrates product capability more clearly along with static equipment where most are 'hands on'.
Micromech people will be on hand to discuss particular applications and demonstrate products such as: Steppers, Servos, Actuators, Gearheads, Grippers, Active Demonstrations, Articulated Robot, Pneumatic Positioners, Ethernet Controllers, Motion Software, System Slide-Show, Labview Compatible Controllers, Visual Basic and much more.
The programme will include: * Working Articulated Robot Demonstrations * Application discussions with engineers about processes, applications, environments, installation, programming, best practice etc * Budgetary considerations about robot and automated system installations which are usually straightforward to price.
Even a complex handling task can be given a budget price to enable the calculation of payback time.
* Continuous slide show of many successful systems projects.
* Robot process evaluation capability where for a development charge, many tasks can be simulated using standard robots prior to the commitment of major CAPEX for a complete system.
