A range of flatbed, 2-axis and 3-axis units use standard products that are quickly built into machines and gantry units bringing deliveries often down to only a few weeks.

The FB2, PA1 and PA2 range of flatbed, X/Y and X/Y/Z units from Micromech use standard products that are quickly built into machines and gantry units bringing deliveries often down to only a few weeks Utilising standard tables and ballscrews they have repeatability of up to +/-0.01mm (depending on the load and speeds) and are available in sizes of up to 1750 x 1250mm with travel of 1250 x 1030mm in X and Y, with 75 to 460mm in Z

The linear guides used are a successful double track drive, proven for many years, with play-free linear ball bearings and ball screws with an accuracy of +/-0.01mm, all units are fitted with two limit switches per axis.

Frames and profiles are anodised aluminium, thick walled, resistant to warping and extremely solid.

In addition a supporting base frame or enclosed hood with access door can be factory fitted.

If required the units can be provided with either stepper (the standard option) or servo-motors, as well as the drives, controls and software modules for operation in CAM, CNC and SPS applications.

An intelligent stepper motor version with integrated power electronics can also be supplied.

The gantry's can be supplied without motors or with an input shaft extension and even with different ball screw thread pitches (2,5 mm or 5 mm).

The machining and positioning systems are available in several configurations and sizes, and are characterised by low-friction running with high travel speeds.

Their low weight and high accuracy are achieved by using excellent quality aluminium components with surfaces finished by milling.

These modular systems are the ideal basis for the construction of a very wide range of machining and processes where affordable automation is needed to make the operation viable.

This makes them highly suitable for automatic placement and mounting, printing, engraving, drilling, milling, dosing, screwing, forming, modelling, glueing, sealing, soldering, welding, measuring, checking, sawing and vision systems.
