Painting robots have a very large working envelope and payload capacity enabling a wide range of painting and coating applications that utilises a patented purge system.

The Fanuc robots are masters in the art of reproducing an intricate movement ad infinitum because details are important particularly when they need to be repeated indefinitely.

The P-120 and P-145 robots have two talents that do just that because they are designed for the most demanding applications, like fascia and component part painting.

These models have the same design principles that you'll find in the rest of the P-series robots which are the standard for automotive topcoat painting applications.

With maximum payloads of 5 kg and 7.5kg, maximum reach of 2,409mm and 2,542mm respectively, these clever six axis models both have a repeatability of +/-0.5mm.

They have a very large working envelope and payload capacity enabling a wide range of painting and coating applications that utilises a patented purge system which is approved for operation in hazardous environments including Class I and II, Division I and Groups C, D, E, F and G.

The advanced motion software provides constant tip speeds, improving the uniformity and appearance of the paint finish, and because of their high acceleration it decreases the robot repositioning time, increasing the amount of available process cycle time.

The design of the wrist allows left or right side mounting to optimise processing and increase travel and is compatible with all major applicators, while the PaintTool software has a common user interface to all FANUC Robotics paint robots, increasing operation efficiency.

The software includes line tracking, automatic colour change, analogue parameter control and Accuflow integral 2K variable ratio pump control.

Hardware options include left or right hand wrist configuration for optimal processing, integral paint delivery pumps and control for a 2K variable ratio system and I/O subsystems including Allen Bradley RIO, DeviceNet and also Profibus-DP.

They are engineered to provide high quality, reliable and affordable solution for a variety of general industrial painting and coating processes.

Easy to maintain and offering fast acceleration plus high-speed operation results that minimise cycle times and reduce production costs.

The six-axis, electric servo-driven robot's rugged design is based on the success of six generations of paint robots.

As systems partners Micromech Robotics and Fanuc can specify, build and install the right equipment that is simple to programme and operate.

Some manufacturers may have painted themselves into a corner and need to crank up production but have not yet considered robotics.

With an uptime rate of 99.99% these robots keep painting without missing a stroke such is the ability of robots designed for painting applications.
