Linear ball bearing table is smooth,
precise
Linear ball bearing table uses non-recirculating linear ball bearing to give the smoothest linear translation while the precision ground leadscrews provide a positioning repeatability of +/-0.003mm.
Micromech has addressed the demand for a quality design and construction linear table where extremely smooth linear translation with excellent straight line and flatness accuracy is crucial The new 100BT table achieves this and in addition provides highly precise positional accuracy and repeatability

Micromech appointed systems integrator for robots
Motoman Robotics (UK), Banbury, has appointed specialist motion control system builder, Micromech, based in Braintree, Essex, as systems integrator for articulated-arm robots.
The 100BT uses non-recirculating linear ball bearing to give the table the smoothest linear translation while the precision ground leadscrews provide a repeatability accuracy of positioning of +/-0.003mm (bi-directional).
The range has travel lengths up to 300mm and selectable drive screw leads to match speed and resolution requirements.
Offered in English or Metric versions, these tables are utilised in high to ultra high-end applications requiring accurate positioning over a relatively short distance at slow to moderate speeds and accelerations.

Digital servos operate in 250-500A range
Designed from scratch, digital servo drives represent an outstanding combination of innovation and performance in the 250-500VA power range.
In addition to the precision grade models, this series is also offered in standard grade models which permit cost savings to be realised in less demanding applications.
Table housings are constructed of high quality aluminium alloy and are protected with a black anodised surface finish.
The top and bottom mounting surfaces are precision ground to assure flatness.
The low-profile design and lightweight construction make the 100BT well suited for multi-axis applications.
These tables are designed for use in clean environments and are typically found in the semiconductor, aerospace, instrumentation, and scientific industries.
Typical applications include parts inspection, vision systems, and gauging.
Scanning and crystal growing are also popular uses for these tables since they require extremely smooth and very precise motion.
A wide range of coupling styles and bores are available to match motor requirements, bellows-style couplings are required for all precision grade tables and have the lowest torsional windup, while the aluminium and stainless steel helix couplers offer good windup characteristics plus high durability at a lower cost.
The motor mount is designed for an industry standard NEMA 23 motor flange with shaft lengths between 16.5mm and 21.5mm.
All styles of the 100BT series can be equipped with mechanical reed switch, optical sensor type limit and home switch assemblies.
The limit switches provide a signal when the table approaches its 'end of travel' which is used to command the motor to stop.
The home sensor provides a fixed reference point to which the table can always return.
Linear encoder options mount to the side of the table and is used to give direct positional feedback of the carriage and resolutions of and of 0.001mm (0.0001in) are available.
Z-axis brackets for vertical mounting of the 100BT tables is offered as a standard accessory.
