Actuator is ideal for weight watchers
Light in weight, light on the budget and lightening speed this range of timing belt actuators from Micromech is available in three sizes to allow for various loads or speeds to be achieved.
Light in weight, light on the budget and lightening speed this range of timing belt actuators from Micromech is available in three sizes, the ZF1, ZF2 and ZF3 to allow for various loads or speeds to be achieved.
They can be assembled either together or with the LF ballscrew versions in various combinations to make a wide variety of XY or XYZ configurations.
The versatile ZF actuator family is simple to maintain, easy to clean, compact and light, but importantly low cost per metre and on very quick deliveries.
The aluminium profile guides can be run in parallel via a common lay-shaft to carry higher loads and come with clearance-free feed timing belts, either 3mm or 9mm pitch width.
Standard lengths are up to 6,000 mm although in the ZF3 models even longer lengths are available as specials.
The feed per revolution is 70mm, feed rates up to 5.0m/s and repeatability is less or equal +/- 0.2 mm.
The limit and or reference switch accuracy < 0.1 mm with factory fitted motor drive modules.
The ZF range comes into its own for applications that have a light cutting, marking or inspection head such as camera positioning which needs light weight, slim and compact actuators.
For gluing machines that have to be fast, must be rugged, easy to clean and maintain, or low cost laser/plasma xy systems for cutting or marking.
The labeling machine market, which is always very cost conscious has certain applications where the ZF is suitable and requires high-speed wipe on or transfer mechanism arrangements.
They are particularly useful on process flow lines to carry out product manipulation and grouping, also fast inspection using a vision checking system.
