Serving to provide service and maintenance support throughout Scotland, the new Glasgow Service Centre will work in close co-operation with its smaller sister facility located in Aberdeen.
The man charged with overall responsibility for coordinating the strategic development of Morris Maintenance Services within Scotland, Regional Manager, Hamish Sutherland will continue to oversee the operation in Glasgow, whilst working closely with Centre Manager, Jim Johnston.
It is Jim, however, who will hold responsibility for the day-to-day activities of a team of seven Mobile Fleet Engineers who work out of the centre, together with two on-site administrative support personnel.
"Our new facility in Glasgow will enable us to be better equipped in supporting the service and maintenance contracts that we enjoy with a growing number of customers throughout Scotland.
At the end of the day, it is all about ensuring that customers remain confident in the knowledge that they are getting round-the-clock access to a support service geared around maximising productivity in the workplace," comments Regional Manager Hamish Sutherland.
