Morgan Construction, through its UK subsidiary, Morgan-Europe, Sheffield, has won a contract to upgrade Fundia Nedstaal's mill in Alblasserdam, The Netherlands.

Mill upgrade will allow rolling larger rod sizes
Morgan Construction Company has received an order to upgrade Connecticut Steel Corporation's (CSC) single-strand mill to produce largedr rod sizes.
It is the first time that Fundia Nedstaal has ordered this type of equipment from Morgan.
Manufacturing of these mill assemblies will completed in Morgan's headquarters in Worcester, (Massachusetts, USA), while additional portions of the contract will be procured at Morgan's facility in Europe.
The revamped mill is due to begin commercial operation in August 2002.
The Zhang Jia Gang Shatai Steel Company in Jiangsu province, Peoples' republic of China, has ordered 12 No-Housing stands from Morgan - the first such order for Morgan from China.
It follows on from the Chinese bar mill's order for two cantilevered finishing stands that had been shipped out at the beginning of 2002.
The No-Housing stands will be designed in Worcester and built by Morgan-China's production facility in Shanghai.
The No-Housing and cantilevered stands are to be installed by August 2002.
