Morgan Construction Company has received an order to upgrade Connecticut Steel Corporation's (CSC) single-strand mill.

The order for the Wallingford-based company includes the design and installation of a conversion to the third-stand of the Morgan 10-stand No-Twist mill from a 6-inch roll housing to an 8-inch roll housing, as well as a new pinch roll assembly.

Neil Gow, Sales Manager, explained, "These modifications will allow the mill to produce larger sizes of rod." CSC produces wire rod by rolling purchased billets of a wide range of qualities.

Morgan Construction Company is a designer and producer of high-quality rolling mill products and services for the metals industry worldwide.
