Labelling software allows companies to completely automate their labelling function and maximise the efficiency and accuracy of their product identification and tracking systems.

MAP80 Systems, a Prisym Group company is launching a new version of PRISYM labelling software that will allow companies to completely automate their labelling function and maximise the efficiency and accuracy of their product identification and tracking systems Taking customer comments and requests and the latest technological advances in data capture and RFID MAP80 have developed a new version of PRISYM labelling software that will set the standard for product identification and labelling solutions

The latest version of PRISYM will be able to drive SATO and Zebra RFID printers and Domino inkjet printers.

This gives companies a huge range of options for label printing from a single platform.

The new version of PRISYM labelling software has multiple 'key fields' allowing for many different variables to be gathered from databases and included in labels at print time.

This allows for better cross-referencing of products using the variable information printed on the label.

Which means individual products can be traced more easily and accurately.

Also included are label sets, for producing different labels relating to the same job, which can be printed simultaneously from different printers saving time and improving efficiency.

Barcodes for inclusion in a label design can be selected from visual representations as well as a listing making it easier for users to select the right barcode.

Other new features include the ability to embed a 'picture block' as a background when designing labels.

This is useful for designing formats for label stock with pre printed features such as watermarks.

Text blocks with instructions for print time can be attached to label designs so that they pop up on the screen when the labels are about to be printed.

A major step forward is the introduction of Domino ink jet printer drivers.

This means that manufacturers can drive desktop printers and inkjet coders directly from PRISYM labelling software.

These and a host of other new features make PRISYM labelling software a very powerful tool for product identification.

The new version of PRISYM is aimed at companies that want a labelling solution with a high level of functionality but is user friendly and compatible with the latest data capture devices, print and apply systems and RFID label printers.

PRISYM is ideal for companies who also need the ability to link seamlessly with other systems such as ERP, SCADA, vision and supply chain management.

Mick Daw, Prisym Group CEO comments 'We have listened very carefully to the needs and additional features required by our customer base.
