Record first year for PRISYMID's Sri Lanka office

The Sri Lankan office of PRISYMID has just celebrated its first birthday and what a year it has been! In the last twelve months, the company's Sri Lankan facility has gone from strength to strength, achieving over GBP1million worth of sales.

Situated near the capital Colombo, the 2,200sq ft facility provides high quality clothing label printing services to the apparel and textile industry, including local Marks and Spencer's suppliers as well as those for other leading retail chains.

Luvi Seimon, Sales Director of PRISYMID Sri Lanka, enthuses: "The Sri Lanka office has been an enormous success, having exceeded all targets and expectations".

"Since we opened here a year ago with six staff, we have achieved approved supplier status to a number of leading retail chains including Tesco, increased our production capacity and now employ a team of 23 experienced staff." As well as supplying bureau printed labels by flexo or thermal transfer overprinting, this regional office can hold stock on the shelf for customers, working to just-in-time manufacturing principles.
