The Focus Reverse Engineering 4.0 will be presented during the Euromold 2005 tradeshow (Nov 30th - Dec 3rd, Frankfurt, Germany).
Following the customer's demand to buy 'one-stop shopping' solutions, Metris integrates all their software products on the Focus platform.
The Focus software suite consists of three integrated products for scanning, inspection and reverse engineering positioning Metris as the first company to offer a complete solution.
The Focus Reverse Engineering 4.0 is the second member of the Focus portfolio that is released.
A focus on performance: Easier, faster, better Innovative pointcloud handling technology included in Focus dramatically increased the performance of the complete reverse engineering workflow.
This release also introduces a new algorithm to fit curves and surfaces over missing or incomplete data.
Focus makes your reverse engineering task easier and more productive.
The user interface is composed of different worksheets reflecting the reverse engineering workflow of the user.
In this way, the user is guided step by step through his task.
A typical workflow can consist of: importing the point cloud, meshing the point cloud, creation of curves, creation of spring meshes and finally generation of surface or solids.
Each step in the workflow contains its own dedicated set of toolbars with user intuitive icons.
This adaptive way of working reduces training costs and enables proper handling by any user profile.
The data and results are organized in a clear data tree enabling the user to keep a comprehensible overview when applying many meshes on his data.
The single common platform for the different applications also opens up the full potential of the complete Focus portfolio.
The use of a similar user interface minimizes e.g the training effort to switch between Focus Inspection and Reverse Engineering.
Focus assures you a growth path that will protect the initial investment for many, many years. Request a free brochure from Metris ...
