Metris and Leeport Group have agreed a sales, service and marketing partnership that will dramatically raise the Metris profile in this rapidly expanding region.
Metris, a total metrology solution provider, and Leeport Group, the foremost metrology distribution company in Greater China have agreed a sales, service and marketing partnership that will dramatically raise the Metris profile in this rapidly expanding region Metris has taken an initial order worth more than 4 million euro and will be equipping the Leeport demonstration centres as well as meeting a steady requirement for a broad range of Metris metrology equipment for the region to be delivered this year

Under the new partnership agreement Leeport Group, with over 150 dedicated metrology sales, marketing, service and support staff in the region, will promote the complete range of Metris' highly innovative metrology solutions products.
Leeport Group have chosen to work with Metris because the company's product portfolio which opens up new opportunities for large volume measurement and also for portable and high throughput laser sensor applications complementing their current broad Metrology portfolio.
Leeport Group will be equipping their three premier demonstration facilities in China with all of the Metris products including the highly innovative cross scanner, indoor GPS, Optical CMM and Laser Radar product families.
The Metris product range includes a portfolio of innovative products consisting of both optical and mechanical metrology equipment capable of precision measurement from small precision components up to completed production units up to the size of a commercial airliner.
Metris and Leeport Group will be working closely together to develop the greater China region whilst also exploring further opportunities for partnership that will benefits both companies in the future.
