Crimp connectors resist strong vibration
With a robust design and casing of impact-proof unbreakable plastic and central screw to ensure vibration-proof connection, crimp connectors can be used in equipment subject to strong vibrations.
Robust angled connectors suit control systems
Contact bearer and connector casing of narrow, angled connectors are made of high-quality glass-fibre-reinforced plastic in an unbreakable robust design.
Protection class IP 65 as per DIN 40 050.
The central screw ensures a vibration-proof interlock; also available with knurled screw for tool-free actuation on request.
The casing is impact-proof plastic and the screws are protected to prevent independent loosening.
Only materials with high creep resistance are used for casings and contact plates.
The shape of the contact springs prevents any surface damage to the contacts, even when plugged and unplugged several times.
The casing is designed so that the contact bearer cannot work itself loose accidentally, even when the central screw has been unscrewed.
This effectively excludes the risk of accidental contact with live parts.
The appliance connectors are available in numerous designs for virtually all requirements:For installation of sheet metal, for installation in reinforced screw connections, for installation on flat and cylindrical surfaces and for injection moulding.
Cable sockets are either available with GDME integrated strain relief, casing for contact protection as per DIN VDE 0700 T 1 (IEC 335-1 and DIN VDE 0722, optical voltage indication, rectifier insert and safety circuit to protect against voltage peaks.
Cable sockets and appliance connectors are also available with crimping contacts.
Application Examples: * For hydraulic, pneumatic and electromagnetic components, such as solenoid valves, pressure transducers, limit switches, proximity switches, flow monitors, level sensors, etc * Version with built-in electronic components, such as rectifiers and optical indicators, for pressure monitors, protective networks for numerous applications.
* Version with contact protection for applications in thermal engineering, such as in gas appliances and oil burners.
* Version with crimping connections for electromagnetic parts exposed to vibrations (commercial and rail-bound vehicles, construction machinery, conveying systems etc).
* Applications requiring "metal-free" casings, such as in the chemical industry, foodstuffs and luxury goods industries.
