Ken Powell, President and CEO, Marketworks, said, "Last year was a phenomenal one for online sales".

"For the first time, e-commerce revenue passed the $100 billion mark in the US and the GBP30 billion mark in the UK, Marketworks' second largest market".

"The strength of our performance is as a direct result of our customers' success in aggressively expanding their online sales beyond their web store to other online channels, using a combination of our platform, and our outsourced fulfilment and customer care solutions".

On its way to achieving a record quarter, Marketworks achieved a number of significant milestones, including adding more than 1,000 new customers to its multi-channel solution in the period.

It has also expanded its service offerings through Google, Amazon, NetSuite and eBay, the most vibrant global online marketplaces.
