The Matrox Vio SDI is a single platform for handling new high-definition or traditional video standards in Serial Digital Interface (SDI) or analog form.
Some of its key features include digital or analog video acquisition, low-latency digital and analog video outputs synchronised to the video input and graphics overlay composition.
The Matrox Vio SDI uses a x4 PCI Express (PCIe) host interface, enabling it to stream high-definition video to the host PC for archiving or from the host PC for playback.
Software development kits, available separately, provide support for Microsoft Windows XP and eventually Linux.
