Heavy-duty rotary hammers for drilling concrete, steel, and wood can also be used for chiseling masonry in rotation stop mode.

Metabo Corporation, a leading international manufacturer of professional grade portable electric power tools and abrasives for industrial, construction and welding applications, now offers the heavy-duty KHE 24, 28, and 32 SDS rotary hammers for drilling concrete, steel, and wood as well as for chiseling masonry in rotation stop mode All three models feature Variospeed electronic speed control to maintain maximum productivity under load, Metabo's exclusive S-Automatic slip clutch to protect the operator in the event of a bit jam, a quick-change chuck (easily replaced with a 3-jawed keyless chuck, which comes standard with the KHE series, for non-masonry bits), and an ergonomic reversing switch accessible by both right- and left-handed operators

The tools also incorporate auto-stop carbon brushes to eliminate damage to the motor due to brush wear, and the KHE 32 model features an LED signal to alert the operator when the motor's brushes need to be replaced.

The KHE 24 delivers 124 inch-lbs.

of torque, with a bit capacity of 1in in concrete, 1/2in in steel, and 1-1/2in in wood.

The KHE 28 offers 159 inch-lbs.
