Heavy duty rotary hammers work in dusty
places
7/8in and 1in rotary hammers feature a winding protection grid, which deflects airborne debris from armature windings to increase motor life up to five-fold when working in dusty environments.
Metabo Corporation, a leading international manufacturer of professional grade portable electric power tools and abrasives for industrial, construction and welding applications, has introduced the BHE22 7/8in SDS Rotary Hammer and BHE24 1in SDS Rotary Hammer, designed for a wide range of applications that require drilling into or through concrete, steel, and wood The new BHE22 and BHE24 rotary hammers are ideal for a variety of installation and construction tasks, including setting anchors or Tapcon* fasteners, installing HVAC or plumbing/sprinkler systems, and general construction

Hammer drill offers heavy duty drilling
With a maximum tightening torque of 159inlb, this hammer drill offers 3/4in drilling capacity in concrete, 1/2in capacity in steel, and 1-1/2in capacity in softwood.
Both rotary hammers feature the Metabo winding protection grid, which deflects airborne debris from armature windings to increase motor life up to five-fold when working in dusty environments, as well as the Metabo S-automatic safety clutch, which limits reverse torque to protect the tool and the operator in the event of bit jams or snags.
The BHE22 is equipped with a 4.7 amp motor generating up to 97 inch-lb of torque, enabling it to drill holes up to 7/8in in concrete, 1/2in in mild steel, and 1 3/16in in softwood.
The BHE24 has a 5.8 amp motor generating up to 124 inch-lb of torque, allowing it to drill holes up to 1in in concrete, 1/2in in mild steel, and 1 1/2in in softwood, in addition to electronic speed stabilization to maintain maximum drilling speed under load.
Both the BHE22 and BHE24 feature variable speed and reverse for versatility in addition to the Metabo "Quick" change chuck system, providing for easy conversion to non-masonry drilling applications.
Both are equipped with a rubber-coated side handle for better control and reduced vibration, and a gooseneck depth gauge to ensure accurate drilling depths.
