A compact straight grinder ideal for deburring, sharpening, and grinding applications in space-constrained areas has an ergonomic shape that minimizes operator fatigue.

Metabo Corporation, a leading international manufacturer of professional grade portable electric power tools and abrasives for industrial, construction and welding applications, now offers the G500 die grinder, a compact straight grinder ideal for deburring, sharpening, and grinding applications in space-constrained areas The new G500 die grinder features a 4.4 A motor providing 27,000 rpm of no-load speed (16,000 rpm at rated load)

The G500 is equipped with a hardened and ground 1/4in collet to ensure accurate balance of fitted attachments (an optional 1/8in collet is also available).

The new 3.7 lb G500, with a length of 9in and an ergonomic shape that minimizes operator fatigue, provides easy access for grinding and deburring even when space is tight.

An extensive selection of available accessories provides the G500 with the range to tackle multiple jobs; the new grinder is also suitable for tasks that require flexible drive shafts.

A convenient attached tool rest keeps the G500 rock-steady during accessory changes.

The G500 die grinder is designed for high performance over a long service life, with a rugged, die-cast aluminum bearing housing.

Auto-stop carbon brushes extend brush life and prevent motor damage caused by worn brushes.

As with all Metabo tools, safety is paramount; double insulation provides a non-conducting barrier between the operator and internal components, eliminating the risk of electric shock.

The new Metabo G500 die grinder is provided with a collet wrench and spindle wrench; an optional carrying case is available.
