A quick-change three-jawed keyless chuck system allows rapid installation of accessories for drilling into non-masonry materials.
The KHE-D28 D-handle design improves operator control, especially in overhead or down-drilling applications.
The rotary hammer's 360deg adjustable side handle is rubber coated for greater operator control and comfort.
A large knob for quickly changing from percussion with rotation drilling to rotation only enables the operator to switch modes without removing his protective gloves.
The KHE-D28 features a gooseneck steel depth gauge for drilling depth accuracy when setting anchors, as well as variable speed and a reverse feature for efficient drilling into a variety of materials.
For improved tool life, the new KHE-D28 features a winding protection grid that deflects airborne debris for increased motor life by up to five times in dusty environments, as well as an S-automatic safety clutch that helps protect the operator and tool if a bit should jam.
Heat generated during operation is quickly dissipated by the tool's die cast aluminum gearbox.
